Salvador beats to the rhythm of Africa, and its music and dances are heavily influenced by its African background,  When you stand in the center of its capital, Salvador, you'll feel the vibe. The birthplace of Samba and Capoeira, Bahia is alive with movement and energy; the country's pulsating epicenter of Afro-Brazilian culture.

HESSPEA Plant-Based Cooking is for men & women, singles & couples who want to learn the history and celebrate the culinary food traditions that are inspired by the beautiful regions of Africa, West Indies, South America, and American South. Experience the culture, cuisine and warmth in this 3-hour hands on cooking class paired with lively conversation and good friends. Each recipe is accompanied by the music that connects us to the food - - - Reggae, African, Caribbean, Jazz, Zydeco, Afro-Cuban, World Music, & Afro-Brazilian Rhythm. We'll begin the evening with an appetizer social and then head on into the kitchen to explore the menu, and end with a global dining experience.
