Chef Zoe Adjonyoh of Zoe's Ghana Kitchen and professional wine sommelier Cha McCoy of Cha Squared, have joined force's to host 'The Communion' - an intimate wine tasting and west african food pairing experience. 

Cha McCoy is the Founder of Cha Squared LLC, a consulting company with a focus on tourism, gastronomy, and hospitality experiences, education and training.  She is a public speaker, curator and host for intimate wine experiences with a stellar track record of supporting and building with Small Business Owners in gastronomy which ignited her event The Communion.  A pop up wine tasting and food pairing experience that led the invitation to prepare the wine menu for the James Beard House, Thanksgiving Dinner of 2017 and named one of the “NYC’s Vibiest Wine Tastings” by Grubstreet. Her admiration for wine lead her to study as a wine professional, achieving Certified Sommelier Level with the Court of the Masters Sommelier  and WSET Level 2 Wine & Spirits Award. McCoy’s recent recognition as the Top 40 Under 40 Tastemakers by Wine Enthusiast and Cherry Bombe.

Zoe Adjonyoh is on a mission to bring African food to the masses. Described by the Observer as a “standard bearer for West African food” and named by Nigel Slater as ‘one to watch’ bringing immigrant food to Britain, Zoe has been making waves in the food scene ever since her first sell-out supper clubs in 2010 at her home in Hackney Wick. She was named one of “London’s hottest chefs” by Time Out and most recently has been included as one of ‘The 44 Best Female Chefs in the World’ by Hachette Cuisine France. Zoe has taken her fresh interpretation of classic Ghanaian flavours to pop-up venues across London, Berlin, Accra, and New York, and has become a leader in the African food revolution. In 2018 she was honoured at the Iconoclast dinner at the James Beard Foundation in New York, as well as speaking and cooking at the CIA World of Flavors Conference in San Francisco. She most recently in February 2019, she was invited to speak at TEDXOxford about Food: Its Importance to Cultural Stepping Stones of Understanding And Exchange.
