Camping and community, celebrating people of colour in nature at the Wild in the City Festival weekend!

Get away from it all without leaving the city this summer.

Wild in the City are excited to be running a 3 day 2 night camping festival in Croydon woodland, celebrating people of colour in nature with talks, walks and workshops.

Join us in this first event of its kind, where we will be hosting talks from an inspiring line up, walks in London’s countryside, and natural and traditional crafts that connect us with the nature around us.

Set in the beautiful countryside of Croydon, with easy access from public transport, our festival will be bringing communities together around the campfire for a weekend of shared inspiration and experience with nature.

Small and chill, our festival will provide opportunities for relaxation, conversation and the enjoyment nature within this wonderful ancient oak woodland, home to badger, buzzards, kestral, deer and rabbits.

Our programme features inspiring keynote talks from practitioners working in nature including;

Beth Collier, Nature based Psychotherapist/Anthropologist

Dwayne Fields, Explorer

Jasmine Kamal Pasha, Photographer

Maxwell Gomera, UN Biodiversity Director

There will be workshops in arts and craft, bushcraft, mindfulness and nature therapy to name a few!

Accommodation: Camping and shared bunk style dorms

Catering: Food stalls and self catering with catered community meal options

Tickets: Ticket price includes entry and main programme. Additional workshops will be at an extra cost.
