Description

Chicken Liver Pâté is made of chicken livers, fat bacon pieces, mustard, milk and sherry or brandy

Ingredients

1 pound
chicken livers
1 pound
fat bacon pieces
1⁄2  
clove garlic
1  
large onion
2 teaspoons
dry mustard
   
salt and pepper
   
milk
1 tablespoon
sherry or brandy

Instructions

How to make Chicken Liver Pâté?
1. Clean livers of sinews and gall.
2. Put into fireproof casserole with all other ingredients roughly chopped. Season and just cover with milk. Put lid on casserole and cook in slow oven (300°F) for 2 hrs.
3. Liquidize in blender. Adjust seasoning. Add sherry or brandy. Put in dish and cover with melted butter.
