Chinese Fried Rice

Ingredients

   
soya sauce
2 cups
uncooked parboiled rice
1 clove
garlic (large)
  bunch
of spring onions (a cut diagonally)
1  
grated carrot (large)
1  
sweet pepper (thinly sliced)
6  
bacon (strips of finely sliced)
2  
onions (chopped)
2  
omelettes (2 eggs seasoned and made separately)

Instructions

How to make Chinese Fried Rice?

Cook rice. In a large frying pan make omelettes and reserve.
Fry bacon, remove; then fry onion, remove; then gently fry together the carrot, spring onions and pepper for about a minute; remove and reserve.
Fry the cooked rice. If necessary, add a little oil at this stage. Sprinkle on soya sauce until rice reaches the desired colour which should be light brown. Mix thoroughly until evenly coated. Mix in all the other ingredients except omelettes. Add the squeezed garlic and lastly roll up each individual omelette, slice thinly and mix into rice. Season, if necessary, and serve.
