Gardening and plant-based diets are sweeping the nation! People all over are trading in processed foods for fresh, locally-grown ingredients. Join Black Girls Do, as we garden, and explore the benefits of clean eating and a plant-based diet.

"Black Girls Do: Garden in the City" is in partnership with Soilful City. Soilful City is an organization that seeks to bring justice to communities and heal the sacred relationship between communities of African decent and Mother earth. Soilful views farming not only as a way to cultivate food and sovereignty for communities, but as a way to heal and rebuild our souls.  Soilful City will be providing guests with an interactive Gardening 101 course, which explains the benefits of gardening. Guests will also get hands-on experience with gardening during the event!

This event is also in partnership with V Soul. V Soul is a Health & Wellness company, which provides awareness and solutions for a Plant Based Alkaline Diet. V Soul will host a cooking demonstration and provide samples to attendees. V Soul will also be gifting custom SMART Meal Planner Journal to all attendees!

A portion of the event proceeds will also be donated to Soilful City's non-profit efforts!

Thank you to our event sponsors: Mielle Organics and Haircredible!
