An evening celebrating the very best of Northern culture centred around Jason Hartley's Daft Puddin'. Reet posh filled Yorkshire puddings using the very best artisan Northern produce.
Daft Puddin' launches on Feb 1st with a permanent food truck in York's historic Shambles market, a second will tour the country from Summer 2018. A range of gourmet ready meals is in the pipeline.
Daft Puddin' exists because of a passion to increase awareness for the amazing food produce that exists in the North and a desire to get more Northerners to return to simple cooking with great affordable ingredients as a stimulus to sit down together as families and friends and talk more.
The evening begins with a short talk from Daft Puddin' founder and food campaigner Jason Hartley on the purpose behind Daft Puddin' and the realities of the state of food culture and eating habits in the North of England.
Then follows a three course tasting (yes, including dessert) of the using the very best artisan produce from farmers and producers across the North of England. We offer a vegetarian menu on request when you book.
Northern craft beer and spirits will be on offer as well as one or two of our very own cocktails and Northern tunes will fill the air.
