Join our fun, cool cooking, socializing and eating workshops, where we will explore the limitless
possibilties of recreating innovative food at home.

Our South African workshops are dedicated to a cuisine that is less known outside South Africa and South African expat communities. We will play with food carrying funny names, like Bobotie, chakalaka, Bredie, and Koeksisters (to name but a few), infused with spices, and truly exiting.
In this  workshop we will be creating these dishes:
Bobotie – the south African custard topped fruity “meatloaf”.
Funeral rice - a spiced yellow rice with raisins.
Sambals – Cape Malay chutneys and pickles.
Chakalaka (yes really!) - a spicy vegetable dish.
Mosbolletjies – grape juice and anise soft buns.
Malva pudding – spongy caramelized baked pudding.
