Unearthed Song & Poetry is an open mic series at home.stead bakery & cafe that happens every 3rd Wednesday of the month. Each month we feature a rising musician and poet and encourage any and all poets and musicians to sign up to share 2 pieces of their work. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. $4 cover at the door.

Our featured musician this month is Hana Kahn. Hana Kahn is a pop powerhouse singer-songwriter whose “emotional nakedness and elegant musicianship” (Zach Weg, The Deli Magazine) drive her message of the importance of authenticity and vulnerability.
Combining empowering ballads, catchy upbeat numbers and stories from her unconventional background, Hana’s performance is not only encapsulating, but leaves audiences fueled and inspired to follow their own dreams.
Fall of 2017 brought the release of Hana's latest single, Find Me. Entering the 2018 season, Hana will be releasing new singles and a music video while creating her first full-length album, Found, to be released winter 2019.

Our featured poet this month is U-Meleni. U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo, M.Ed. B.A. is a multi-talented academic and creative sensation who is a multi-award winning international best-selling author and Top 10 charted soul singer.
