The Senegalese Association of Northern California (SANOCA) is organizing an all day cultural event to celebrate the Senegalese Independence Day (April 4th 1959). We are inviting the Bay Area community to share in the history, as well as the musical and gastronomical riches of the Senegalese culture.

The Senegalese Association of Northern California (SANOCA) is a non-profit organization based in Oakland California whose mission is to serve the Senegalese community, contribute to its social and cultural development as well as to facilitate its relationships with Senegalese and local officials. SANOCA was enacted in 2014 to fulfill a long standing need of an organizing body uniting the Senegalese to the local community of Oakland and beyond.
