So what do Africans love to drink? West Africans like to drink Ginger Beer, Lemon Grass Drink, Pineapple Drink and Orange Ade these are the non alcoholic drinks. Mildly alcoholic, probably about 1% alcohol is palm wine. Poyo is palm wine, Salone’s favorite native adult beverage. Milky-white in color, it’s surprisingly thin and almost frothy when fresh, which is how you want to taste it. Here are drinks Africans like to drink.

Funerals in West Africa have become a party celebration, the family is expected to serve refreshment to the sympathizers after the funeral service as a way of appreciating these people for being with them in their moment of grief. It is very common to see people eating and drinking at these funerals you would think they were having parties. Some would even pack some food and drinks in plastic bags and take them home for their children or relatives.

There was food from Sierra Leone (Moyi Moyi and Rice Akara), Uganda, Ghana (Red Red), Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Eritrea, Jamaica, Nigeria (Jollof Rice), Barbados and Somalia. Nadia Maddy represented the Sierra Leone people in the house.
