Veal Cordon Bleu Ingredients: 4 unit veal cutlets ((each about 3 ozs.) or 3/4 lb. veal round steak, about 1/2 inch thick) 4 slice smoked ham (thin) 4 slice swiss cheese 2 tablespoon flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice 1 unit egg (slightly beaten) 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs 3 tablespoon shortening 2 tablespoon water Instructions: How to cook Veal Cordon Bleu? 1. If using veal round steak, cut into four serving pieces. 2. Pound veal to 1/4-inch thickness. 3. Place one slice each of ham and cheese on each piece of veal. 4.
