Tokunbo's Kitchen First Year

By West Africa Cooks, 31 August, 2016

Exactly a year ago, I had a vision to 'Bring Nigerian Street Food To A Global Market' and proudly launched Tee's Food Corner at the 'African Food and Drink Takeover at Africa Utopia, Southbank. It was such an amazing feeling to have so many people from all different cultures and walks of life enjoying some of our delicious street food that I grew up eating. This year, due to popular demand, we are adding the beloved Jollof Rice and other equally delicious meals to our menu alongside our street food offerings.

Still hard to believe it was all just a year ago as my vision has now grown into the #OyaComeChop movement having fed over 1000 people through our various pop up events and festival stalls. I am so incredibly thankful for YOUR continued support and cannot wait to have you celebrate this milestone with me this coming weekend.

In celebration of our one year anniversary, we are offering you a 10% discount off ALL food purchases. All you need to do is mention 'Oya Come Chop' when you visit our stall. Come prepared to feast to your heart's content because no one leaves a Nigerian kitchen without a full stomach and heart!
