Tomatoes Provencale

Ingredients

4  
tomatoes (large ripe )
   
salt and pepper
1 clove
garlic (large crushed)
1 ounce
dry white breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons
olive oil (3-4)

Instructions

How to make Tomatoes Provencale?

1. Cut the tomatoes horizontally in half and make a shallow depression in each side, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
2. Mix the garlic, breadcrumbs, olive oil and parsley together.
3. Fill the tomatoes with this mixture and arrange side by side in shallow ovenproof dish.
4. Bake for 15 minutes in a hot 400°F oven or under a grill until browned.
5. Serve with roast chicken or lamb.
